AquaHydra – Dual-Nozzle Water Cannon

The Hephaestus AquaHydra is a rugged, high-performance dual-nozzle water cannon built for demanding environments. With interchangeable nozzles (12–22 mm), an adjustable spray angle of 0–48°, and a spray radius of 22–51 meters, it delivers powerful wide-area water coverage. Capable of flow rates up to 99.6 m³/h (≈1660 L/min) at 2–7 bar, the dual-pipe design distributes large volumes of water efficiently across terrain. Built from durable metal components with brass internals, the AquaHydra features full 360° automatic rotation and a 2-inch flange connection, and an adjustable tripod (1.3–2.1m) for stable, elevated targeting for integration with high-flow pump and hose systems.

AquaHydra FAQ

What is the AquaHydra water cannon?
AquaHydra is a is a tripod-mounted dual-nozzle rotating water cannon designed to distribute large volumes of water across wide areas for irrigation, cooling, and dust suppression.
How far can AquaHydra spray?
Depending on pump pressure and nozzle size, AquaHydra can project water up to approximately 51 meters.
What flow rate can AquaHydra deliver?
The cannon can deliver between 317 and 1660 L/min depending on nozzle size and operating pressure.
What pressure is required?
AquaHydra operates between  2–7 bar.
What pumps can be used with AquaHydra?
AquaHydra works best with high-flow portable pumps capable of delivering stable pressure and large water volumes like AquaDefender.
Can AquaHydra run together with a fire hose?
Yes. Many pumps allow two outlets, allowing AquaHydra to operate for wide-area soaking while a hose and nozzle can be used for manual water control.
How does AquaHydra connect to the hose?
The AquaTitan connects via a 2.5″ (65 mm) BS quick fire hose connection. Our recommended setup is 2.5″ throughout, allowing direct connection to standard fire hoses used with portable fire pumps.
What water sources can AquaHydra use?
The system can draw water from pools, tanks, reservoirs, wells, ponds, or lakes when connected to a suitable pump and suction setup.
